The Western New York Rural Area Health Education Center’s Rural Broadband Healthcare Network (RBHN) is a consortium of providers in rural, urban and medically underserved areas that qualify and participate in the FCC’s Healthcare Connect Fund.
The FCC’s Healthcare Connect Fund allows rural and non-profit healthcare facilities to save up to 65% on their broadband, fiber and equipment services.
As the long time consortium leaders for over 170 healthcare facilities utilizing the HCF, the RBHN team handles all of the administrative burden for our consortium members and save organizations both time and money. Since 2015, consortium members have saved over $13 million.
